Timothy Knatchbull

From a Clear Blue Sky: Surviving the Mountbatten Bomb

On the 1979 August bank holiday weekend, 14-year-old Timothy Knatchbull went out on a boat trip in County Sligo, Ireland that cost 4 lives. The IRA bomb killed his grandfather, Lord Mountbatten, his grandmother Lady Brabourne, his twin brother Nicholas and local teenager Paul Maxwell. Knatchbull has lots of wise things to say about reconciliation, forgiveness and the resilience of the human spirit.
